Description

An herbaceous perennial with a very tall, upright habit. Medium green, oblong, toothed leaves on strong stems. Panicles of wonderfully fragrant, soft pink, bell-shaped flowers in mid-June through July and August.

Has a very commanding presence in the garden. It will require staking in its 2nd year in an exposed, windy location. This plant has a long bloom period that attracts multitudes of bees and butterflies to the garden. May produce a 2nd flowering if plant is cut back when first flush is ending. Slugs and snails can inflict some damage early in season.
