Description

A moderate-growing, vase-shaped, deciduous shrub. Spring growth of small, oval-shaped, apple-green leaves are edged in creamy-white with the cream edging slowly turning to a soft pale yellow as the season progresses. Trumpet-shaped flower clusters appear in late spring, early summer bursting open in white, then slowly turning a soft pink and flushing into a light rose-pink colour as the flowers mature.

This is one of the nicest weigela cultivars whether in leaf or flower. It will grow well in most soil conditions and is decently drought tolerant once the shrub is established. There are no pest or disease problems.
