Did you know….

                      …archaeologists uncovered evidence that the people who lived in the Caucasus region roughly 8000 years ago were growing grapes and making wine. This is now the earliest record of wine making from grapes.

It was originally thought the earliest winemakers were the Egyptians when archaeologists discovered the written records of how the Egyptians made their herbal wine. But those records were written about 3000 years after the Caucasus people had perfected their wine recipe.
