Finally caught the rhubarb leaf culprit in the act! The dastardly critter responsible for putting unsightly holes in the large, classically structural leaves on a favourite vegetable plant in our garden. Meet Arion rufus…also know as Arion ater ssp. rufus or more commonly as European black slug or simply black slug…an introduced species from Europe and the UK.
