I have added some useful information about the black vine weevil – Otiorhynchus sulcatus. Find out the timing for its various life cycle stages, and more importantly, what to look for and where in the garden.

Most people know rhododendrons are a favourite food plant but black vine weevils also nibble on azaleas, Kalmia, Euonymus spp., and other broad-leaved evergreens, as well as hemlock and Taxus (yew).
