Description
An herbaceous perennial with compact mounding habit. Thick, ovate-shaped, seer-suckered, glossy leaves are golden yellow in the centre with dark green margins. White to pale lavender flowers appear on 18-24 inch (45-60cm) tall stems in July and August.
‘Rainforest Sunrise’ has good sun tolerance with frequent watering. Leaf colour will be muted if sited in full shade. Thick leaves are more slug resistant; newly emerging leaf tips may be susceptible to damage in spring. Leaf spots and crown rot may be a problem.
