Description
An herbaceous, small- to medium-sized hosta. Heart-shaped, blue-green, strongly veined leaves have a thin suggestion of a chartreuse margin transitioning into creamy-white feathering inwards as the temperature warms into summer. This margin becomes more pronounced as the plant matures. Pale lavender flowers appear in early to mid-summer.
Sport of Hosta ‘Blue Cadet’ introduced in 2000. Vigorous growth; benefits from regular division every three or four years. Drought tolerant once established. Good resistance to slugs and snails. Attracts bees.
