Did you know…

            … ancient civilizations burned aster leaves to ward off evil spirits?

The people of ancient Greece strongly believed in the power of asters to ward off evil spirits and as a repellent to keep serpents out of their homes.

Asters were also used in wreaths which were placed on altars in honour of Hecate, the Goddess of Magic and Witchcraft.
